ASCO Corporate Contributors Program

ASCO’s Corporate Contributors Program supports national programs and activities benefiting the schools and colleges of optometry. It provides opportunities for representatives from both the corporate and educational institutions to discuss matters of mutual interest.

  • Listing on ASCO’s website with listing of corporate contact
    • All sponsors with contributions over $15,000 receive logo recognition on the website
  • Listing in ASCO’s Annual Report
  • Discounted “member” pricing for Career Center posting on ASCO’s website

Access

  • Opportunity to address deans and presidents at an ASCO Board Meeting
    • This is a 15-minute presentation to the deans and presidents, along with many of the Chief Academic Officers from the Schools and Colleges of Optometry (As available. Five presentations slots available each year to rotate among sponsors)
  • Participation in ASCO’s Corporate Contributor Breakfast. This event is a limited to only ASCO’s Corporate Contributors and the deans and presidents of the schools and colleges of optometry. It is an open forum setting to allow for networking and the sharing of information
  • Access to ASCO’s lists, including; Board Members, Chief Academic Officers, Student Affairs Officers, Clinic Directors, and Residency Directors
  • Access to Data and Trends:
    • Student Data Report
    • Matriculating Opt Student Data Survey
    • Externship Survey
    • Faculty Survey
    • Research Survey
  • Ability to support unique sponsorship opportunities within the organization*

Exposure

  • Inclusion in Industry News in ASCO’s journal, Optometric Education, and newsletter, Eye on Education
    • Optometric Education is published 3 times each year and distributed to more than 2,000 recipients
    • The Eye on Education newsletter is also published monthly and distributed to more than 2,200 recipients
  • The ability to include promotions and “hashtags” on ASCO’s twitter feed
  • Ability to share videos on ASCO’s YouTube channel
  • Ability to provide guest articles for ASCO’s blog, which are posted approximately twice per month. ASCO’s blogs average 600 views per month, sometimes much more. Blogs should be geared toward students, applicant development, and the profession of optometry
  • Access to ASCO’s Optometry Resident Directory
